Ich weiß ja nicht so wirklich ob ich mich freuen sollte, denn das Spätwerk von Carpenter ist ja zu großen Teilen wirklich als schwach zu bezeichnen, aber ich freue mich dennoch. Produzentin und Ehefrau Sandy King Carpenter erzählte im Killer POV Podcast, dass sie und ihr Mann an gleich vier TV-Projekten arbeiten würden:
“Right now, there’s four series waiting to go to network. As far as I’m concerned, we’ll do all of them. I mean, they’re great, and they’re different from anything that’s out there, and they again push the boundaries of what’s horror. [John] would be directing pilots and we would be executive producing them. There’s sci-fi, there’s horror, there’s one that I guess would be [a] sci fi-horror futuristic kind of thing. They’re all across the board. I think they’ll fulfill what people expect out of him by also being unpredictable.”
Viel mehr ist bisher noch nicht bekannt. Zuletzt veröffentlichte Carpenter eine Horror-Comic-Anthologie im Oktober bei der er die Story für eine Geschichte selbst verfasste. Auch Sandy King schrieb für John Carpenter’s Tales for A Halloween Night (Partnerlink)
